Dine Out to Stamp Out CMV!

This event is a fun way to raise public awareness and get the public actively involved in stopping CMV!
It also gets the local business community involved and contributing to the Foundation’s goals of raising public
awareness and supporting vaccine research!

Each participating restaurant will have the option of participating in two different ways. They can donate 15% of
each table’s total bill if that party presents a
Dine Out to Stamp Out CMV!  flyer. Or, the restaurant can choose
the option of simply donating a flat percentage of a chosen day’s revenue.

The Brendan B. McGinnis Congenital CMV Foundation will assist anyone interested in sponsoring this event in
their own hometown! We will provide the personalized flyers with each restaurant’s name on it, of course also
containing information about CMV. We will also provide our informational brochures for you to distribute and
raise public awareness in your community! In addition, we will contact your local media to request they air a
segment on CMV and the upcoming event, providing them with any informational material they may need!

Annual CMV Awareness Walk-n-Rollathons!

The Brendan B. McGinnis Congenital CMV Foundation will hold this event in numerous cities across the country
in May of each year. For 2010, you may choose any day in May! We can make May, "CMV Awareness Month!"
Join us in our effort to unify our CMV voice across the country and
get national news coverage to raise awareness!

This is a great way to raise public awareness about CMV not only locally, but on a national level. We will provide
all of the necessary publications, materials and assistance to organize this event in your own hometown!
All donations and sponsorships received during the events are tax-deductible, since the Brendan B. McGinnis
Congenital CMV Foundation is a non-profit organization. These donations will in turn help us continue our public
awareness campaign and assist supporting vaccine research, all working toward our ultimate
goal of eradicating CMV and saving the lives of babies yet to be born!

Contact us if you are interested in hosting either of these fun
public awareness and fund raising events in your hometown!

The Brendan B. McGinnis Congenital CMV Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) dedicated
to raising public awareness about congenital CMV, to raise donations to support research
for a vaccine for CMV, and to affect change in the medical community so that physicians
will begin to test women for CMV prior to pregnancy. Ultimately, our mission is to save
babies yet to be born from suffering the often devastating consequences of congenital
CMV by eradicating this common but potentially life-altering virus.
